The weekend of July 4th was an interesting one where the Community Cruiser team hit a home run at Zuehlke field where the North Vancouver Baseball tournament was held. The water park close by was great for promoting Family Day. All the kids were excited to receive our new beach balls while their parents were excited to receive water and Family Day information.Sunday's weather was much warmer but strangely less sunny! The Community Cruiser Team paddled out to the picnickers, cardio exercisers and paddlers at the MEC Paddlefest at Jericho Beach. The water was littered with vessels of all shapes and sizes which was truly a sight to be seen! The Cruiser Team took off the top and headed back to the North Shore where a Corvette show was taking place at Waterfront Park. The show featured Corvettes ranging in years from present day back to vettes from the 50's!
