Hot! Hot! Hot!

What a scorcher this weekend was! There was no shortage of people wanting water to cool off with, frisbees to toss, or beach balls to throw. We began our weekend at Spanish Banks where the Volleyball BC Youth Provincials were being held. The spectators were very grateful for the water to refresh themselves while they watched the high energy action in the hot sun. After having such a great time at Spanish Banks The Cruiser Team decided to see what the beaches on the Northshore were like, and they did not disappoint! Ambelside was filled with families, young people, older people, babies... you name it and they were probably there! The blistering heat really didn't stop anybody from running around, playing games, or just soaking up the rays.
After having such a great Saturday The Cruiser Team had high hopes as they headed out on Sunday. The Cruiser Team headed to Latin Festival at Trout Lake Park and it was jam packed! The heat only added to the atmosphere and vibe. Then The Cruiser Team made their way to the Chinatown Festival and it was remarkable to see how many people were there. The summer may be winding down, but there are no signs of that as far as The Cruiser Team can see!
